The Beauty and Growth We Shared: High Mountain Healing 2026

From October 14–18, 2026, we gathered in Crestone, Colorado, for our 3rd annual High Mountain Healing Yoga Retreat. Held at Blazing Mountain Retreat Center, tucked into the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, these five days gave us sacred space to slow down, reconnect, tune into nature, and savor the expansiveness and beauty all around us. Through yoga, meditation, community, chanting, quietude, and deep rest, we explored the simple gift of being present, both with ourselves and with one another.

Our time together extended into the beautiful San Luis Valley, where we gathered on the Great Sand Dunes, soaked in the hot springs, and visited a heavenly mountain farm. There was sound healing, shared songs, stargazing, nourishing meals, soothing tea, quiet moments, and plenty of shared conversation and laughter. Woven throughout were themes of aparigraha and santoṣa, invitations to practice letting go and discover the sweet contentment available within the present moment. Like wildflower seeds, the intentions we planted carry the possibility of something beautiful yet to bloom.

What stays with us most is the connection: friendships taking root, voices coming together in song, and the warmth and care each person brought to our gathering. Over the years, this retreat has become so close to our hearts, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us, including those who contributed their time, expertise, and resources to help make it so special. We’re delighted to share some photos and a video recap, offering a glimpse of the beauty, joy, and peace we experienced and cultivated together in this magical land.
